    Comments about Ridge Tool Company 3/8 X 75 Ft Cable For - Ridgid Drain Cleaner item # 96079:

    The tip has a relatively short reinforced section. Original equipment is more substantial for an additional 6 inches. Because of this, the replacement snake can sometimes "snake" past the obstruction without actually clearing it. One needs to deliberately go slow through the restricted pipe section. This is a good idea regardless because a 3/8 inch snake will easily knot up--a danger to the operator and potentially damaging the snake line.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
