This activated carbon filter is designed for use with the Dri-Eaz Portable Air Scrubber, DefendAir HEPA 500. The handy accessory will enable the scrubber to more efficiently capture a wide variety of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including soot and smoke, food odors, fumes from paint and paint thinners, sewer odors, and many other compounds. The carbon filter is easy to install on the DefendAir; simply place the new carbon filter inside the cabinet in front of HEPA filter, and then re-secure the cover. The carbon filter measures 2-1/2 in. D x 19 in. H x 16 in. W. It should be replaced when users note a decline in effectiveness.
