This device detected several gas leaks in gas lines and valves to my stove, furnace and water heater. I kept smelling gas in my kitchen and had just bought a new stove that would make a loud poof when the oven cycled the valve. A service tech came over [...] and used his gas detector and found nothing. When I used the Leakator Jr. it immeadiately found gas coming out of the gas shut off valve. Replaced valve and no more smell or poofs. I will tend to the other leaks soon. Seems to be more sensitive than others. It was rather pricey but a gas explosion could be alot more expensive and dangerous. Will use it on my rental properties also. Shipping was fast! Good product.

I used this to find a gas leak that we could smell but never locate with any other means. Later I used it to find a very hazardous leak in a pilot light system on my RV. Worth every penny. Would purchase this again.
