These Bright Dyes biodegradable fluorescent wax cone dye tracers are recommended for large bodies of water and dissolve in 4–6 hrs. FLT Yellow/Green is a specially formulated versions of Xanthene dye and an excellent color choice for high silt or red clay backgrounds. Traditionally used for fluorescent water tracing and leak detection, this dye has also been used by the military to mark downed pilots for search and rescue operations over large water bodies. This dye fluoresces green (520nm). Compliance: FLT Yellow/Green dyes are NSF certified for potable water.
