For easy, convenient tracing of water flow patterns in lakes, reservoirs, septic systems, piping and all other bodies of water, these Bright Dyes vivid, ecologically safe colors are the ideal solution. The colors can be easily detected in clear, deionized water in the range of 100 ppb of active ingredient; FWT Red is fluorescent and a good choice for use in greenish or yellowish water with a lot of algae.

Compliance: Certified by NSF International to ANSI/NSF Standard 60 for use in drinking water.

Bright Dyes FWT red liquid products are specially formulated versions of Rhodamine, and is resistant to absorption on most suspended matter in fresh and salt water. However, compared to FLT Yellow/Green products it is significantly more resistant to degradation by sunlight and when used in fluoremetry, stand outs much more clearly against background flourescence. As always the suitability of these products for any specific application should be evaluated by a qualified hydrologist or other industry professional.
