Bright Dyes FLT Blue biodegradable non-fluorescent dye tracer is a specially formulated version of food grade dye FD & C Blue, and is ideal for visual detection for tracking water flow patterns or for a decorative effect tin fountains and bodies of water.
This bright, vivid, ecologically safe dye tracer is easily detected in clear, deionized water in the range of 100 ppb of active ingredient and is for visual detection only. The dye cannot be seen under ultraviolet light or detected by fluorometry. Based on biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) studies, the dye is biodegradable with 77% of the available oxygen consumed in 7 days.
Compliance: FLT Blue dyes are NSF certified for potable water.
