To remain compliant with new UL updates, the new Carbon Monoxide Detector from First Alert now possesses several new features, including a reset/test button, detailed instructions marked on the product itself and the ability to ignore low levels for up to 30 days without sounding a full alarm.

This battery-operated detector measures at both low and elevated levels for an extra margin of safety, and measures CO levels every 90 seconds. Green, yellow and red lights alert individuals of possible alarm levels. The detector comes with a 9V battery.
