The durable MSA Galaxy Automated Test System can retain up to 1000 individual test records!

Features & Applications:

The MSA Galaxy Automated Test System is an easy-to-use, versatile and durable calibration and test system designed for Orion Multi-Gas Detectors. It offers simplicity, incredible performance, and is able to withstand the harshest of environments, all at an affordable price. Simply place the instrument in the test stand and close the door. The system performs the test automatically; no other user intervention is required. It does not require a computer or network interface for any mode of operation; the system can operate completely standalone, or be connected to a computer network.

Setup of the Galaxy Automated Test System is easy and fast as due to pre-connected tubing within each unit. Up to ten test modules can be interconnected for simple expendability.

This instrument helps to lower the overall total cost of ownership of your current MSA gas detection instruments. With the automated recordkeeping capabilities available with each test stand, there’s no need to keep hand-written records of an instrument’s calibration history. It comes with a two-year, all inclusive warranty.

*Galaxy does not include a demand flow regulator or calibration gas which is required for calibration.  Please contact customer service for details.

Features:

  • Easy-to-Understand Pass/Fail Indicators- High-intensity LEDs provide quick, unmistakable notification of a successful calibration or test.
  • Multiple System Interconnectivity- Up to 10 specific and different Galaxy modules can be interconnected. All of the tubing and connections are pre-linked within each Galaxy Test Stand, eliminating the guess work of calibration gas and electronic connectivity.
  • Instrument Charging- As an added feature, some MSA instruments can be recharged on the Galaxy Test System. The instrument charge feature is automatic after a successful bump or calibration, making the Galaxy System fully automated. At the end of the day, simply place your MSA portable gas detector in the Test Stand and the next day your instrument is calibrated, fully charged and ready for use.
  • Desktop or Wall-Mount- With various lengths of din rail available, any combination of up to 10
Galaxy units and 3 cylinder holders can be mounted to a wall. This is very beneficial for installations where desk space is limited.
  • Inventive System Door- The system door has multiple functions. The door operates as a device to ensure proper gas flow to the MSA instrument, providing confidence that the gas detection instrument is being tested properly. The door also functions as the method to provide the proper
connection when charging your MSA instrument, as well as a dust cover to keep unwanted debris from entering the Test Stand during test.
  • Robust Design- As you’ve come to expect from all of MSA’s equipment, the Galaxy Test Stand, molded out of high-strength polycarbonate plastic, will withstand the harshest of environments.
