The DiST®'s ease-of-use in combination with its affordability has made it the standard in EC and TDS measurement. The waterproof (it even floats!) DiST®5 tester has a dual-level LCD that displays EC or TDS and °C or °F. At startup, DiST®performs a self check then displays the remaining battery level to assure proper working condition.

The Hanna DiST®5 Waterproof EC/TDS/°C/°F Tester also features a stability indicator and hold feature to prompt the user when to take the reading & freeze the display for easy and accurate recording. The Hanna EC / TDS / Temperature meter has a stainless steel temperature probe for faster and more precise temperature measurement. Calibration and temperature compensation is automatic, while the EC / TDS conversion factor and temperature coefficient factor (ß) are user adjustable for application specific measurements. This advanced EC / TDS / °C / °F meter features graphite electrodes to provide the greatest possible accuracy as they cannot be contaminated by salt deposits in the solution and when the electrode finally is exhausted simply insert a new electrode cartridge!
