The Amprobe ECB50A is a microporocessor-driven tracer that allows three types of troubleshooting – circuit breaker identification, wire tracing in walls, and wire sorting.
The transmitter module generates a coded signal that is injected into a powered AC line. The receiver wand uses this encoded signal to reject noise and correctly identify the right circuit breaker wire.
The ECB50A is rated CAT III 150V and has a standard NEMA 5-15 plug that is common to the United States and Canada.
