This chlorinated hydrocarbon screening test kit is easy to use, even without any training, and quickly determines the presence of chlorine in waste oil or in non-halogenated organic solvents. This compact, pocket-sized kit includes step-by-step instructions for measuring chlorine levels of 200 to 4000ppm within 100ppm. The kit has been proven invaluable when different oil lots are blended or when the user must know how close a quantity of waste oil is to the 1000 ppm or 4000 ppm action level. This useful test is ideally suited for measuring chlorine in crankcase, hydraulic, diesel, lubricating oils and virtually any hydrocarbon based solvent. All premeasured reagents are sealed in glass ampules to ensure safe and consistent, results.
