The exclusive I-Frame® construction of the Craftsman 9 Drawer Tool Cabinet allows it to stand up to more stress than conventional designs. The cart is easy to move with the handy recessed side handles and 2"W x 5" dia. casters. The cart features durable, high-quality drawers that are constructed of 20-ga. steel for the drawer shells, top and bottom are 19-ga. steel and the sides are 18-ga. steel. Three drawers measure 10-5/8"W x 16-1/2"D and the other six drawers measure 22-3/8"W x 16-1/2"D. All drawers have varying heights. Made in the USA.

I had been looking for this particular chest in the traditional black and red color combo and was surprised to find it at Professional Equipment. I like the small footprint and 9 drawer arrangement. The Quiet Glide drawer slides work great, especially with some weight in the drawer. Just keep them lubed as needed. Also, unlike ball bearing actions, they won't easily roll open unintended and risk tipping the chest when you're moving it closer to your work. This chest is well made in the U.S.A. It is designed with a sturdy frame and a flush mounted handle. You could outgrow this chest, (I may add the intermediate box) but I'd rather have two rollaways than one huge, hard to move box. There is also an 11 drawer unit that would make a great compliment in a second chest for your shop. [...]
