This unit uses the same accurate technology as the BD-2100 but is equipped with a conventional needle for inspectors who prefer an analog readout. Detects moisture from 6–40% in wood materials such as flooring, studs, joists and subfloors. For nonwood materials like concrete, plaster, sheetrock and insulation, the useful color-coded scale reads from 0–100 on a relative basis. Also useful for EIFS testing. This package includes the BD-10 moisture meter, hard carrying case, 26-ES electrode, and 10 #496 contact pins.

26-ES Features:

The contact pins that are included with the 26-ES have insulated shanks so that only the tips are exposed. The pins make contact with the material only at their uncoated tips and provide much more accurate readings of moisture content at various levels of penetration. This feature allows you to penetrate through flooring to a concrete or plywood subfloor.

#496 contact pins Features:
