        The hammer probe is very useful and is a great tool. I have used them for years. Unfortunately I am on my third or fourth due to wiring failure at the probe collar. The probe could do with a form fitted plastic or rubber connector to protect it from chaffing through.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Seems to be durable but the probes are not quite long enough - I would like to see another 1/2 inch but then they might break easier. The prob cap needs some anti vibration help to prevent them from comming loose during use.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
