This box is 3 years old and has developed cracks where the hinge bolts run through the plastic. I found this out by going out and opening the box after a very heavy period of rain to find my tools soaked and rusty. Very dissapointed in this product! Also the latches are wearing out and the lids are very hard to close.

I BOUGHT THE TRUCK TOOL BOX ONE YEAR AGO AND DIDNT USED AS A TOOL BOX BUT FOR MY SON'S ATHLETIC UNIFORM AND FOR GROCERIES IN OTHER WORDS THE BOX IS NOT BEATEN UP. I FOUND OUT THAT THE BOX IS LEAKING BECAUSE THERE IS A CRACK WHERE THE HINGES ARE LOCATED. THE TORSION SPRINGS ARE NOW WEAK SO IT OPENS WHILE YOUR ARE RUNNING. THEY DISCONTINUED THE PRODUCT SO I DONT HAVE ANY IDEA WHERE TO BUY THE BROKEN PART.

I got the box so I wouldn't have to store things in my back seat. Works great. I now have a place for jumper cables, tow cables, tow hitch items, and my tool box of hand tools. The added tray that comes with the box is great for items that need to be available quickly like a hammer or dc/ac converter.
