**NOTE**
Due to the earthquake and resulting events in Japan, the manufacturers of radiation meters/detectors and Geiger counters are experiencing extremely high demand which affects our backorder lead-times. Professional Equipment is working with those manufacturers to get stock in as quickly as possible. If you have questions, please call 1-800-334-9291.
Features & Applications:
This digital radiation monitor is an easy-to-use instrument favored by industrial personnel who work with ionizing sources of radiation, and ideal for environmental testing for the evaluation of ambient dosage of gamma radiation. It is also easy to use for personal use in homes and offices, and can detect objects that have been polluted by beta active radioactive nuclides.
This environmental testing equipment uses a Geiger counter to detect the amount of gamma radiation within 40 sec. and indicates the values in µSv/h and µRem/h on an LCD screen. The digital radiation monitor features an audio alarm with 3 adjustable thresholds, and provides continuous updating of readout in proportion as the duration of measurement increases. This enables the user to quickly pinpoint the location of hot spots as the registration of every particle is indicated by a click sound.

Comments about Less EMF Incorporated Digital Radiation Monitor:
I use this product to attempt detection of
contaminated food, but it seems we've been vigilant in California, because there was no warning from all food tested, but when I took it to the geology dept. to determine if it was functional, it worked fine. Seems like a good device for the money...Kudos, Russkies!

Comments about Less EMF Incorporated Digital Radiation Monitor:
I'm really not sure this meter is functional. I've tried to get a response from a battery-powered smoke detector and a glow-in-the-dark alarm clock, but no dice...any advice?
