For walking my dog out in the country where we live. He is a little Bichon therapy dog and I walk before we go to work. We have our dogs fenced but not many more out here do. It works have used it many years now. Couldn't find in our town of 30,000 Population. So online I went. Got some for my daughter too. They live in a small town. Other dogs remember it too. It is good to have in the car for emergencies.

Carry this item when hiking or jogging. Have tried mace and loud horns with mixed results. This unit is reported to have a longer range and a more potent mixture. Haven't had to use it yet.

We carry Halt with us on every bike ride. It is so easy to use when the dogs feel the need to try and bite you. Will bring them to a sudden stop and allow you to continue on your way.
