The dual design of these safety ear plugs gives you constant and intermittent protection in the event of an arc flash. The yellow end gives you hear-through protection and the red end provides constant protection. These Dual-End Earplugs offer two levels of protection to shield your hearing from harmful noises.

The yellow end features a nonlinear acoustical design with a calibrated filter inside the stem that allows most low-level sounds, like conversation, to be heard clearly during wear. If an arc flash occurs, the filter reacts instantly to suppress the noise to a safer level. The red end protects your hearing around hazardous noise levels. Either way you wear them, you get reusable comfort. The triple-flange design fits most ear canals. Red end - NRR: 22dB. Compliance: Red end provides continuous protection - meets ANSI S3.19-1974.
