E-Safe® Electrical Plug Lockout. The E-Safe "lock-a-plug" completely encloses the plug from any accidental reconnection. The electrical cable is inserted through the opening and then closed. Multiple entry locking system avoids usage by unauthorized personnel during critical times. A practical and positive protection system. Made of "polypropylene" plastic. Totally dielectric, resists hot or cold temperatures up to 300° F/ 149° C. Has sliding closure and integrated multiple lockout. For 110 volts, cord 0.500" (21mm), plug 1-3/4"x1-3/4"x3-1/4". Color: red (padlock sold separately)

I purchased this product to restrict my two teenagers from T.V. use. They figured out how to twist the plug lockout and making a tiny space whereby the plug can be eased out. It can happen because the hard plastic can be dented and twisted. I think it can be very useful and safe for younger children.
