This Self-Diagnostic Emergency Light is designed with factory pre-set functions, meaning no field adjustments are necessary. The self-diagnostics verify battery connection and also check for charger board failure, lamp failure and transformer failure every five seconds. In addition, the lights perform a 1-min. self-test every 30 days, a 30-min. self test six months after installation, and a 90-min. self test 12 months after installation. The emergency light also features an internal clock that resets every time AC power fails or a test switch is manually depressed. Compliance: UL and NYC approved.
