After being exposed to a light source, the GLO-MEGA Safety Hard Hat glows in the dark for more than 48 hours. It’s an excellent choice for night construction workers, miners and others who work in low-light or dark environments. High-density polyethylene construction for maximum protection and standard hard hat life span. Photoluminescence can be charged by 10–20 minutes in direct sun, 30 minutes in bright fluorescent light or 20 minutes near a 40W incandescent light. Cushioned brow pad absorbs moisture, is removable, washable and replaceable. Impacts are absorbed by a six-point woven nylon suspension. Headband adjusts to more than 40 head sizes witha ratchet know. Certified when headband is installed in reverse position.
