I used one of these as an indicator inside a temperature chamber for testing lap top computers several years ago. I am using this one as an independent temp & humidity indicator at home. It works great, doesn't take up much space and it is very accurate.

I use my EXTECH big digit hygro-thermometer to monitor temp and humidity in a room where I have a large grand piano. Necessary to insure humidity and temp remain within reasonable limits. One feature I particularly like is the ability to look at maximum and minimum levels and then be able to reset and start over. I have no complaints on this unit and would recommend it highly.

I use a portable humidifier in my condo, and it was always difficult to accurately measure the humidity level. I have wall-mounted "decorator" weather stations, but they never read the same! When I need an accurate meter, I go to Professional Equipment. Only drawback is most models are +/- 5%, but I can live with that!

I use this product to regulate my room temperature and humidity. I need to do so during the winter because I have allergies that become exacerbated by the dry heat. My sinuses flare up and I need to use a humidifier. The product allows me to stay on top of these important factors and helps me stay healthy through the dry heat of winter.
