As an architect I was looking for a light meter to check light levels in and around my buildings. This meter fits the bill perfectly. It measures light from moonlight to full sun, has a large easy to see display, even in low light conditions, and is simple and easy to use. It appears to be a well-made, "professional grade" tool. I like the protective "holster" which not only protects the meter but is very "grippy" and sticks to sloped surfaces. Checking light levels was eye opening. Now I can see precisely where levels need to be adjusted and by how much. The only improvement I would like to see: Every time you turn it on, it's in the lowest range (up to 20 fc). I rarely use that range, so I have to change it, every time. It would be nice if it remembered the range it was in when shut off.
