Seems to be a good product. I have no way of knowing if it is accurate, but it seems to give reasonable readings. Easy to use. Does not have a lighted screen. Comes with and uses standard batteries.

The meter appears to be a quick steady reading instrument and provides a rapid analysis of the sound and noise in the area you are reviewing. My only negative comment would be the price of the calibration equipment. When you have the ability to purchase a quality instrument at an affordable price and with which you can do some good work, you have to layout a small fortune to obtain a calibration device (on average 5X the cost of the instrument). I have used the meter frequently since receiving it and have been able to make some healthy recommendations for improving noise in the workplace. To this point the meter appears to be durable and it is very easy to use.
