Comments about Extech Instruments Extech Home Inspector Kit:
I use the GFCI tester and the stick thermometer everyday in my home inspections and the infared thermometer at almost every one. This package is must more economical than buying each tool separately. I've even found other uses around the house for the infared thermometer.

Comments about Extech Instruments Extech Home Inspector Kit:
Good package. They would have cost a lot more if I bought them individually. One thing strange about the moisture meter is that according to the manual I must press the "measure" button to take the measurement but the fact is, with mine, I do not have to. I just place the meter on the object and the meter chirps and shows the moisture level. I don't know if this is a defect with the product but this is even handier than I have to press the button.
Very sensitive too. I wiped the backside of a ceramic tile with a wet towl and then took the meausurement. Of course the meter found the moisture. In about one week time, I took the measurement everyday. On the 7th day, the back of the tile was completely dry to the touch but the meter still found it wet by showing a sinificant reading.
