this tach is not very accurate. i have to measure conveyor speeds and motor rpms on industrial equipment but this tach just is not accutate enough to calibrate the equipment.

The Tach serves it's purpose at this time, but if the O'ring on the wheel becomes missing the measurement will not be accurate. Also over time the O'ring will become dried out and possibly slipping or shrinking. This is a device that one may use a few times a year.
