The EXTECH Pocket Digital Light Meter is the ideal light meter for a wide range of applications. Small and compact, the digital light meter measures up to 2,000 foot-candle for basic lighting applications, with a 5% basic accuracy. Use this light meter to measure light in numerous environments, the office, factory settings, schools, or in stairwells and emergency exits, ambient light testing, security areas, parking lots, and many others.
The EXTECH Pocket Digital Light Meter features a 3.5" LCD, and is battery operated, with a low battery indicator. The light meter comes complete with a remote light sensor and cable, 9V battery, and built-in stand.

- Large 3-1/2 digit (1999 count) LCD with over-range indication
- Two ranges: 200.0 (0.1Fc) and 2000 (1Fc)
- 5% basic accuracy
- Precision color-corrected, photo-diode sensor
- Battery operated with low battery indication
- Complete with 9V battery, remote light sensor with 47" (1.2m) cable, and built-in stand

Light meter works fine. It is light weight and easy to use. If the meter had a backlit screen it would be perfect. The low light areas make it hard to see the reading but overall I am pleased with the unit and would suggest it to others.

It is lightweight and I like the protective cover w/chain for the sensor. The two ranges are ideal. I don't like the coiled cable because it springs back. Would prefer an uncoiled cable of 36 inches and a plug-in jack for the cable because it would be easier to carry and store.
