Comments about Extech Instruments USB Temperature and Relative Humidity Datalogger - Extech:
We have 3 of these Extech units so far (plus one of the Lascar units). We will get more. Good for widespread checks and troubleshooting of HVAC systems. Not NIST certified, but for the cost it shouldn't be. (For litigation, get out your more pricy equipment.) The software is basic. It does not let you print other than the entire log on one page. It would be nice to be able to print long trends over several pages, or print only a portion at one time. This can not be done with the Extech software. But it is easily exported to Excel to do multi-page charts. A big plus is not needing a cradle to connect to the computer - just plug in and set up.

Comments about Extech Instruments USB Temperature and Relative Humidity Datalogger - Extech:
Working well now. I had to call Tech Support to load the software because the big casing on the logger may not seat properly in many USB slots. If it is not fully seated, the software won't install and doesn't give you any indication why. There was also no indication on the package that the user's manual was on the CD.
The button you push to remove the casing broke on the first try. You need to push this to install the battery. The little piece of plastic that locks the casing is very flimsy.
