Comments about Extech Instruments Extech USB Temperature Datalogger:
I use the product to track temperature history in remote locations and storage facilities. It works well, is reasonably priced, and convenient for the most part.
Improvements I would like to see:
[1] The bracket that comes with it does not securely hold the device. I end up taping it on because bumps and vibration can dislodge the device from the bracket.
[2] Almost all of our field equipment is run by various Linux distributions. It would be very nice to have either a quick and dirty data transfer similar to the Windows-based one that ships with the device. Alternatively, a published API or library that would allow us to write our own would suffice.

Comments about Extech Instruments Extech USB Temperature Datalogger:
The software loaded but the driver software would not load. After several calls to the supplier and the manufacturer, we were informed it is a 32 bit processor, not a 64 bit, and it has problems working with Vista[...] Tech support people at manufacturer were of little help.
