This Fiberlock IAQ 8500 HVAC insulation sealant is a water-based, dual-purpose, high performance coating that is also non-flammable and contains an EPA-registered fungicide to prevent mold from growing on coated surfaces. Utilized to penetrate and reinforce duct liner or duct board insulation materials, the sealant forms a flexible membrane in duct liner and is made of premium 100% acrylic resins to allow for optimal durability.
Fiberlock IAQ 8500 can be applied with a brush, roller or airless sprayer. The sealant dries in one to two hours. Compliance: ASTM C-411 "Hot Surface Performance of a Coating on Glass Fiber Blanket Insulation and ASTM E-84 Class A fire rating, Meets requirements of NFPA 90A/90B.
