The Fieldpiece Pocket Knife Style Digital Thermometer can be used in a variety of applications, and features a 180° of probe rotation--the probe folds in and out just like a pocket knife. The instrument can be easily hung from vents or thermostats, and features grooves that can hold the rod at any angle.

I use this thermometer to read meat temperature and is shaped very well for that purpose. Unfortunate, the on/off switch is not reliable and two digit segments failed on its second use. I have to interpret the digit value...but its not too bad. I'm disappointed in the workmanship and over all quality. I won't buy another thermometer like this...I'll buy a Thermopen instead and get a better quality product. You get what you pay for...this is an inexpensive thermometer and it fulfills the part. Professional Equipment shouldn't carry quality products such as this, it's bad for their name.

Great product. penknife design is great. no cover to loose. Order 2 because you will need the second when you leave one hanging in the customer's ductwork.

Cooking. The small probe works well with meats as it does not put such a large hole as others do.
The only thing was that there were no instructions in how you got the probe out or how best to use the product.
