PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT warrants to its customers that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 5 years from the date of its shipment.
If a fault develops during the warranty period, PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT, at its option, will either repair the defective product without charge for the parts and labor, or will provide a replacement in exchange for the defective product returned to PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT. Shipping charges to return replacement or repaired unit back to customer are not covered by warranty and are the responsibility of the customer.
This warranty shall not apply to any defect, failure or damage caused by improper use or improper or inadequate maintenance and care, including battery corrosion and resulting damage. This warranty does not cover physical loss of covered instrument.
All expendable items, such as electrochemical sensors on gas detectors are warranteed for a period of six months. Sensor pads or contact pins on moisture meters and batteries on all units are not covered under warranty.
This Plan is inclusive of the manufacturer's warranty; it does not replace the manufacturer's warranty.
In no event shall PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT, its agents or distributors be liable to the Customer for any special, indirect, or consequential loss or damage of any type whatsoever (including, without limitation, loss of business, revenue, profits, data, savings or good will), whether occasioned by the act, breach, omission, default, or negligence of PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT, whether or not foreseeable, arising howsoever out of breach of contract, tort, misrepresentation or arising from statute or indemnity.
Without prejudice to the above, all other warranties, representations and conditions whether made orally or implied by circumstances, custom, contract, equity, statute or common law are hereby excluded.
This warranty is limited to products purchased from Professional Equipment and is not transferable between instruments. Extended warranties must be purchased within thirty (30) days of the applicable product’s shipment.
