The Garmin Rino 120 is a revolutionary breakthrough which brings you a handheld two way radio with the benefits of the Family Radio Service (FRS) and the extended-range General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS), in combination with Garmin’s powerful WAAS-enabled GPS receiver. The integrated, 12-channel GPS lets users transmit their position with a simple press of a button, allowing others to navigate to their position. This model supports 22 communication channels. Users select 1 to 38 sub-audible squelch codes for semi-private conversations. Transmit up to 2 miles using FRS, up to 5 miles with GMRS.
The Rino 120 has a built-in basemap for North and South America. It also adds two additional features--a voice scrambler for secure communications and vibration mode for silent calls. Included is the Rino 120 unit, belt clip, PC interface cable, lanyard, owner’s manual and quick-start guide. It operates up to 15 hrs. on three AA Alkaline Batteries (sold separately).
