Comments about Gremar Kwik Katch Mouse Trap:

This product works very well. It is a humane way of getting rid of mice. It is quiet and easy to fit in any where. It was so much cheaper than I thought it would be. It is NOT cheaply made. It is well made. It is very easy to use. I can't think of anything negative to say about it. Thanks for providing this product.

Comments about Gremar Kwik Katch Mouse Trap:

Had a similar product which worked great but returned it because it stopped working, but I knew I still had a problem. With your product, I caught one mouse first, then two more, but one was almost beheaded. This really upset me since I am an animal lover. This never happened with the other trap. I feed deer, etc., outside, so I keep feed in the garage and that is how the mice entered into my house.

Followed all the directions but have not caught any mice yet. Not sure if this trap needs to be baited, nothing in the use letter about that.

Comments about Gremar Kwik Katch Mouse Trap:

This trap caught lots of mice (Twenty-one White-Footed Mice), but don't let them stay in the trap very long or they will gnaw their way out through the plastic. We baited the trap with a few sunflower nuts, but this may not be necessary. We are ordering another one!

Comments about Gremar Kwik Katch Mouse Trap:

These mouse traps do catch mice but they obviously prefer my trusty Have-A-Hart trap. When I leave both in the same area I invariably catch a mouse in the Have-A-Hart first. You need to put some bait with an odor to attract them into the trap. Stilton cheese works well!

Comments about Gremar Kwik Katch Mouse Trap:

We had an elusive family of mice living in our fireplace. We had 8 conventional traps set, and the mice knew just how to steel the bait without setting them off. Within the first 3 hours of setting the Kwik Katch trap, we had caught them all,(one at a time). My kids loved seeing the mice through the view window and had fun setting them free in a field. The mice happily hopped off, happy to be free. It is easy to set, even my six year old can set it himself.

Just slide the top open, bait, crank the handle a few times, and catch the cutest little mice. This couldn't be easier! I'm tempted to keep the little critters and make them pets, but for now I'll just keep releasing them to an open field by the house. Thank goodness for catch and release.

Comments about Gremar Kwik Katch Mouse Trap:

The concept is simple. A mouse walks into the hole, steps on the latch-release and the paddle wheel rotates (similar to a revolving door you see at an office building) and moves the mouse safely to the holding compartment. The problem is there are small gaps to the side of the paddle wheel. If the mouse is not positioned properly when the paddle wheel rotates, the mouse is almost severed in half (head and upper body has been moved to the holding compartment and the lower body is still in the hole where the release-latch is. The mouse is in complete agony as one can imagine and now you have to figure out how to release it from being entangled in the paddle wheel before or after it dies. Not a pleasant sight.

Comments about Gremar Kwik Katch Mouse Trap:

The day the trap arrived I didn't get home till late and since I was tired, thought I'd set it the next night. However, while I was sitting in the living room I kept seeing this brave/brazen little mouse running across the backsplash of my kitchen sink, and decided it could not wait. I baited the trap with tvp crumbs (textured vegetarian protein), which is what they'd been getting into, and set it next to the stove on the kitchen counter. About 1/2 hour after going to bed I heard the trap go off. About another 1/2 hour later I heard it go off again. Next morning I had two small mice ready to be taken out into the woods and released. The traps are still set, one under the kitchen sink and another in the pantry. However, I believe my mouse problem is solved for now. Thank you.

I don't know if we just don't use these traps where they would be best used, but in about 9 months, we haven't caught ANY mice with these, but plenty in the old fashioned traps
