The primary extinguishing mechanism of Halotron 1 is the absorption and removal of heat from the combustion zone. To a much lesser extent, the extinguishing mechanism is the displacement of oxygen from the combustion zone. It is approved for use in temperatures ranging from -40°F (-40°C) to 120°F (49°C). The electronically non-conductive units won’t cause thermoshock to your sensitive electrical equipment. Recommended uses: delicate electrical equipment, computers, vehicles, boats, aircraft, laboratories and more. Compliance: EPA approved clean gas. ANSI/UL listed.
