I have low vision (not correctable to 20/20). I've used many hand-held magnifiers. This is by far the best I've found. It's very well designed for its purpose. Rubber grip makes it easy to hold. Rectangle shape gives wider coverage than round magnifiers do, so this works better for reading text. The shape is perfect for reading newspaper columns. The magnifier is nicely weighted so that it's not too heavy, but naturally flips over with a slight shift in grip. Glass is good quality and magnifier is very durable.
