I would not recommend this product for several reasons first the door slams shut extremely forcefully and is close enough to where the trigger mechanism is that I would fear using this for it may harm an animals tail, the Easy Set trap definitely needs to be longer. Then I just barely touched the top of the product and the trigger was released. I called the company Woodstream they said that my product was defective due to this sensitivity I played with it some more thinking I set it up improperly and the cable broke not a well made product at all. Additionally, I didn't find the trap to be as easy to use as described the knob used to release the handle was difficult to turn and flimsy. So obviously I will not be using this to trap anything but, wouldn't have anyway. Also, the website lists the measurements as 32x12x14, the actual size on the box says 32x10x12.

I was trying to catch a couple of cats and the first night I cought the kitten and the second night I cought the mother. They will live happily ever after. The trap worked flawlessly.

Cut down the stray population in my development. I do trap neuter and return.This prevents inhumane killing of strays cats. They are fed after release.
