The KVH DataScope is internally gimballed through ±20° (no need to hold perfectly level) and has a compass accuracy: ±0.5° or ± mils, with declination adjustment. And since the information is superimposed on the scope’s field of view, you never need to take your eyes off of the target! Illuminated monocular is ideal for night viewing.
