they're flimsy. you can get a hernia trying to get them on or off. but they are the only weatherproof outer boots--boots you can put on over your shoes--we've been able to find. anywhere. so curse them. battle them. destroy your back. but be grateful you can now march around in blizzard and downpour without turning your shoes into dripping sponges and your feet into sopping suckers. and buy extras. they wear through fast.

I used these covers over my jump boots at the firing range in the rain. I walked on querry dust the entire day. Within several hours the toe of the one cover was ripped off. This should not have happened. It was not much different then walking in sand all day.
