This Low E Window Coating Contact Meter requires no adjustments or calibrations in order to accurately identify any conductive surface, even when used on single sheets of glass. The unit can test for both hard coat (pyrolytic) or soft coat (sputter) conductive coatings, and is also capable of detecting coatings that are protected by a thin dielectric coating. The Low E Window Coating Contact Meter is easy to use- simply place the meter against the glass and the 4 non-scratch pads on the back of the meter detect the coating.
