This Malco flex duct shear features a thumb operated latch that ensures that the sharpened blade edges stay closed when not in use. The shear cuts insulated flexible round duct and also cuts the duct liner’s wire rib coil. Cutting is facilitated with the pointed bottom blade that easily pierces the duct. The shear also incorporates a heavy duty wire cutter, conveniently located away from scissor blades.
