This Malco locking duct stretcher is designed to facilitate the holding of duct sections, so that you have both hands free to align and install drive cleats. The tool can locked onto either side of the duct connection and requires no wheel adjustment. The tool is very easy to use and offers greater wheel clearance, enabling you to more easily capture the ends of duct sections, even misshapen flanges. The DS3 is designed with a versatile shape that lets you hook and pull duct from above as the drive cleat is coaxed along the remainder of flanged track. The durable all steel frame extends beyond wheel edges, making it safe to push, hammer and bend drive cleats as necessary to complete installation. The duct stretcher also features an offset handle design that eliminates knuckle contact while you work.
