This Megger MIT510/2 digital / analog insulation resistance tester affords the highest level of quality testing along with prime safety, convenience and portability. The tester measures to 15 Tera-ohms, thereby making them fully suitable for critical installation tests and establishment of reliable base data for new high-capital equipment. MIT510/2 offers selectable test voltages at 250, 500, 1000, 2500, and 5000 V, making the tester suitable for applications otherwise performed with a standard handheld model, in addition to the more demanding high-voltage applications. Designed for testing the insulation of high-voltage electric equipment. Their wide voltage range also allows applications for low-voltage equipment. Generators, motors, transformers, cables and switchgear all require effective maintenance. The test techniques on the instruments provide valuable diagnostic information. Measures to 15 TΩ, replacing the ambiguous “infinity” reading with an actual number that can be used for predictive/preventive trending on the highest quality insulation.
