This microwave over leakage meter will not only accurate digital readings of the amount of leakage from microwave ovens, but it also provides an audible "beeping" alarm and red flashing light when it senses microwaves above the 5 mW/cm² danger threshold! Ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in your hand, it is so easy to use: just press the ON button, then press and hold the auto range ZERO button to adjust to zero before each use. Then check the seal of the operating oven door. Sensitivity down to 0.01 mW/cm² at 2450 MHz, it will read all the way up to a roasting 9.99 mW/cm² in hundredths of mW/cm². Battery operates for more than 12 months under normal use. Never needs re-calibration. Excellent reliability and high precision instrument. Complete with carry case to keep your unit in perfect condition.
And as a bonus, this unit can be used to measure radiated power from wireless keyboards, modems, cell phones and all other wireless devices using the 2450 MHz analog frequency. This is a very reliable product, easy to use, and gives very good results. I would give this product a high rating. I took it to a friend house, and checked her microwave, and here the seal around the door was leaking, and with out this meter, we would have no way of knowing. A very good product. Easy to use. Offers low-cost peace of mind. Provides data to indicate if further examination is needed. Found three ovens to be in compliance. The oldest commercial oven, in an office cafeteria setting, to have the highest leakage but still within the safe limit.

This may sound crazy but belive me, it really happened. My wife and I have lived in the same home for the past 10 years. I know every little squeek and groan. A month ago I began to hear some sounds I've never heard. I asked a neighbor about the sounds and she confirmed what I heard. I have metal rods in my spine from a broken back. Soon these rods began to feel like they were getting warm. I didn't understand what was going on. Why did I have sensations like I was having? After doing a little reading I decided to order the Microwave Leak Detector. The reason was not for my microwave, which checked out as good, but because of another much more serious problem. This is not a fairy tale, this is all very true. Many years ago we had a car stolen and the thieves were sent to jail. I was told that the thieves were high ranking drug dealers and to be on my guard. After I received my Microwave Leak Detector I aimed it towards my neighbors house. The meter registered 0.01. This is not a high reading but it is enough to cause damage over a long period of time. I took a picture of the reading and called the police. They both heard the noise of the microwaves and saw the picture. The police began a report however for some reason the meter no longer registers anything yet the noise is still there. I'm guessing the frequency has changed to levels beyond what the meter is designed to register. Again, this is not a fairy tale. This is actually happening to my wife and myself. There is just not enough evidence at this time to make any charges to anyone yet the microwaves continue. I need to obtain a machine that can detect waves in the extreme lower frequencies or higher frequencies. As I said, reports have been made and a log is being mantained. Why is this happening? I'm guessing retaliation. The machine did it's job and that was to recognize the microwaves. Now I need to obtain a meter that can read lower band emissions.
