Back D-ring pad, made of woven/breathable material keeps you cool for maximum comfort, keeps harness from tangling for easy donning too. This harness was plenty big. I am 6'5" and 300 lbs. I could have easily fit into a XL. I am keeping the XXL so I can wear insulated coveralls under it. This is probably the most comfortable harness that I have ever worn. The positioning of the straps on the thighs keep it from riding up and the buckles on the thigh straps make it easy to get on and off. You do not have to put it on the ground and step into the leg loops, that makes it really easy to put on and keep clean. Definitely recommend it.
