To get the bandana to an appropriate cooling temperature, just soak it in cold water for 10-20 minutes prior to wearing. I tested how long this thing cools, almoist 72 hours later it was still useful. I used it for relief from a migraine, ice is too cold, and hard to keep on my head. With this i just tied it on. My ears got chilled in the process, truely unbelieveable.
My friend's son is in Iraq, i sent him one. I will probably buy more when i hear back from him. I hope the 'Camo' color is allowed over there.
I spend long days in the summer on the water fishing, and getting cooled off without being soaked is going to be great.
You have to use it to believe it.
