I already have a battery-powered mole chaser from you and it has worked fine so far. This new solar powered one has only been installed for about a week, so the "jury will be out" for quite awhile. Pre-forming the installation hole with a piece of metal is always necessary, but poses no significant problem. We have a big yard, and if these units continue working, I'll be back for more.

I set this thing up in our back-yard about 3 weeks ago where some rodents dug up our lawn. Not sure why but this gopher chaser seems ineffective. The little things just keep digging up more dirt in new places in the lawn and not wanting to go away. I know that these chasers can actually attract the rodents for a while, but 3 weeks should be over that period afaik.
The other negative thing is that this chaser is annoyingly loud. If I have our windows open I keep hearing the periodic buzzing pretty loud.
