The new MSA Altair 5 Multigas Detector is a versatile instrument ideal for confined space applications and personal monitoring. The instrument features MSA’s exclusive MotionAlert and InstantAlert options. The InstantAlert feature allows users to manually activate an audible alarm to alert those around them to potentially dangerous situations. Users can manually enable MotionAlert to activate a “man down” alarm if no motion is detected for 30 seconds.
Featuring more than 17 preprogrammed languages, an intuitive menu-driven display and 3 large and tactile buttons for ease of use, a 95+ dB audible alarm and ultra-bright alarm LEDs, datalogging and a high-resolution, crisp color display option, the Altair 5 Multigas Detector has certainly raised the bar for gas detectors!
