The MSA Solaris Multi-Gas Detector is protected by a case that is made of rubber armor, which if dropped, will absorb the impact. The case also guards the detector against any unwanted liquids or dust particles which could do damage to the device. The screen on the detector has the ability to simultaneously show gas concentrations with a backlight for easy reading and also has an alphanumeric message bar for easy use. This detector comes with a push button auto calibration feature that makes calibration fast and easy, minimizing the training needed to use this piece of equipment.
