Features & Applications:
The Model 275HVD Non- Contact High Voltage Detector allows you to select voltage ranges via a eight-position rotary switch, from 80 V to 275 kV, and detect the presence of high voltage without the need for any physical contact. Equipped with a sensor head that detects the high voltage carrying conductor's radiated electric field as it is moved closer, the detector with alert the use of live conductors via a buzzer and red warning light. Built with a universal spline in back, the lightweight unit can be attached to any standard hot stick with minimal swaying. Safe usage is limited to the hot stick's voltage rating.
